In cyclic quadrilateral ABCD, If `angleA=120^(@), "then the circular value of "angleC` is

A

`(pi)/(3)`

B

`(pi)/(6)`

C

`(pi)/(2)`

D

`(2pi)/(3)`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`(pi)(3)`
Here, `angle A "and" angleC "are opppsite angles of the cyclic quadrilateral ABCD". therefore angle A+angle C=180^(@)`
or , `120^(@)+angleC=180^(@) " "or , angle C=180^(@)-120^(@)=60^(@)`
` therefore " "angleC=60^(@)xx(pi)/(180^(@))=(pi)/(3)`.
Hence the required circular value `=(pi)/(3).`
