Physical properties of metals :
(i) Metals are in solid state except Mercury and Gallium whch are in liquied state.
(ii) Metals are hard, have lustre and high metling and boiling point.s They are ductile, malleable, good conductors of heat and electricity.
Physical properties of non-metals. :
(i) Some non-metals are in solid state while some are in gaseous state.
(ii) They do not posses lustre. Non-metals are nto hard, except diamond.
(iii) they have low metling and boiling points.
(iv) Noe malleable and not ductile.
(v) Non- metals are bad conductors of heat and electricity, except graphite.
