Mention two reactions in which ethylene and benzene behave differently and two reactions in which they behave similarly.

Benzene ,unlike ethylene , fails to discharge the red colour of bromine in `C""Cl_4` or the reddish-violet (purple) colour of potassium permanganate solution because ,unlike ethylene , the `pi` -electron system of benzene possesses extraordinary stabilisation .
So, in these two reaction ethylene and benzene behave differently.
`underset("Ethylene")(CH_2=CH_2)overset("Alkaline KNnO_4")underset(("reddish-violet"))tounderset("Ethylene glycol"("colourless"))(HOCH_2CH_2OH)`
`underset("Ethylene")(CH_2=CH_2)overset(Br_2//C""Cl_4)underset((red))tounderset(1,2-"dibromoethane"("colourless"))(BrCH_2CH_2Br)`
In the following two reactions ethylene and benzene behave similarly.
Both ethylene and benzene burns with sooty flame to produce `CO_2 and H_2O`.
`C_2H_4+3O_2to2CO_2+2H_2O`
`2C_6H_6+15O_2 to 12CO_2+6H_2O`
Both ethylene and benzene react with ozone to form ozonide (an addition compound).
`C_2H_4+O_3toC_2H_4O_3` (Ethylene ozonide )
`C_6H_6+3O_3 to C_6H_6O_9` (Benzene triozonide) .
