Draw all the isomers (geometrical and optical ) of :
`[Co(NH_(3))_(2)Cl_(2)(en)]^(+)`

`[Co(NH_(3))_(2)Cl_(2)(en)]^(+)`: It has three geometrical isomers, one cis - isomer and two trans - isomers. The cis - isomer exhibits optical isomerism and exists as a pair of enantiomers. The trans - isomers have plane of symmetry and hence do not exhibit optical isomerism.


`II'-=II` (obtained by inplane rotation of II)
In fact, the given compound has four stereoisomers I, II, III & IV. (I, III & IV) form one set of geometrical isomers. Similarly, (II, III & IV) form another set of geometrical isomer. But I & II form a pair of enantiomers.
