Why calcium fluoride is added durig the electrolysis of calcium chloride ? Explain.

The melting point of calcium chloride is very high. `CaF_(2)` reduces the metling point of calcium chloride. So that electrolysis is to be carried out at lower temperature. However, calcium fluoride also helps to make the cahrge more conductive in nature.
