An a.c generator consists of a coil of 50 turns and area `2.5 m^(2)` rotating at an angular speed of `60 rad//s` in a uniform magnetic field of 0.30 T. The resistance of the circuit is 500 ohm. What is the maximum current drawn from the generator? What is the flux through the coil, when current is zero and when current is maximum ?

Here, `N = 50, A = 2.5^(2) `,
`omega = 60 rad//s, B = 0.30 T, R = 500 ohm, I_(0) = ?`
`I_(0) = (e_(0))/(R ) = (N AB omega)/(R ) = (50 xx 2.5 xx 0.30 xx 60)/(500)`
`= 4.5 A`
When current is zero, magnetic flux through the coil is maximum. On the other hand, when current is maximum, the coil is horizontal. The flux linked with the coil is minimum.
