JEE Advanced Examination consists of two papers, which are carried out in two shifts on the same day. The candidates need to appear in both papers to qualify on a merit basis. 1.0JEE Advanced 2024 Paper Analysis

JEE Advanced 2024 was conducted in two sessions (Paper 1 and Paper 2). Paper-1 was conducted from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in the morning session and Paper-2 was conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the evening session for candidates applying for engineering seats in the most esteemed engineering institutions in India.

According to experts and student feedback, the overall difficulty level was considered moderate to difficult, with Physics being generally easier than JEE Advanced 2022 and Mathematics remaining challenging. Chemistry had a slightly higher weightage for Organic Chemistry.

Frequently Asked Questions:

A candidate can appear a maximum of two times in two consecutive years for JEE Advanced.

The responses of all the candidates who have appeared for both Paper 1 and Paper 2, recorded during the exam, along with the questions of each paper, will be available for downloading from the candidate portal whose link will be made available on the JEE (Advanced) website after the examination.

It is safe for the SC/ ST to score a minimum of 45 marks, while for OBC, the minimum required marks are 81. For the general category, one has to score at least 91 in the JEE exam to qualify further. However, it is essential to note that one has to be in the top 2.5 lakh ranks in JEE Main to qualify for JEE Advanced.
