The JEE Main 2026 will be held in two sessions- session 1 and session 2. Session 1 will be conducted tentatively from 22nd to 30th January 2026, whereas session 2 was conducted from 02 to 09 April 2026 (tentative schedule). With the announcement of the JEE Main examination date, NTA has also released the date for the JEE Main registration form on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. So, eligible candidates must fill out the registration form in “Online” mode only through the website.

As the officials release information regarding the start of the registration process for the 2026 exam, you need to follow these steps to fill out the JEE Main 2026 Registration form:
Step-1 Visit the NTA’s JEE Main 2026 Official website.
Step-2 Register by entering your basic details like name, email address, mobile number, etc.
Step-3 Now, log in using the credentials provided and fill out the JEE Main 2026 Application Form.
Step-4 Upload the required documents as per the given specifications.
Step-5 Pay the registration fee.
Step-6 Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) comprises two papers.
Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognised by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.
Candidates are required to fill out the registration form for JEE Main exam 2026 through the “Online” mode only from the official website. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
