NEET 2025 Exam Analysis - Exam Over! Live Paper Solutions [Subject-wise]
The country's biggest medical entrance exam, the NEET UG 2025 examination has concluded and was held by the National Testing Agency in an offline pen-and-paper format. The NEET examination consists of 200 questions, of which only 180 need to be attempted. The allotted time for the examination was 3 hours and 20 minutes. The marks will be like last year, with 180 marks for each section, including Botany, Zoology, Physics, and Chemistry. The NEET UG paper will have a total of 720 marks.

2.0NEET UG 2025 – Paper Analysis by ALLEN
As per ALLEN's experts, NEET (UG) 2025 exam was the Most Difficult in the history of NEET so far. The questions were challenging and asked in a very tricky way.
Subject-wise Paper Analysis - Biology, Physics and Chemistry
NEET 2025 Biology Paper
The paper was very long and complicated. Of the total, 40 questions were from Class 11 and 50 from Class 12.
NEET 2025 Physics Paper
The Physics paper in NEET 2025 was quite difficult and lengthy compared to last year. A total of 22 questions were based on the Class 11 syllabus, while 23 questions were from the Class 12 syllabus.
NEET 2025 Chemistry Paper
Chemistry was very tough and lengthy compared to the last few years.
16 questions were asked from Physical Chemistry, 12 from Inorganic Chemistry, and 17 from Organic Chemistry. Of these, 22 questions were based on the Class 11 and 23 on the Class 12 syllabus.
3.0NEET 2024 Paper Analysis
According to the feedback received from the students and experts, overall difficulty of the NEET-UG 2024 Examination was easy to moderate. The NEET paper was based on the NCERT syllabus. At that time, the Chemistry paper was crucial in determining the rank. No questions were asked from Ionic Equilibrium in Chemistry, and 5 questions came from Physical Chemistry, which had been added to the syllabus that year. However, not a single question was asked about the topic of Experimental Skills, which had also been added to the syllabus. In Biology, some questions were based on old NCERT, while others were from outside the NCERT syllabus.
Subject-Wise Analysis of the NEET-UG 2024 Examination
Physics
- Physics paper was overall tougher than last year. The calculation was difficult for many questions.
- Class-wise, 20 questions were asked from the class 11th syllabus and 30 questions from the class 12th syllabus. Not a single question was asked from the topic Experimental Skills, which was added to the syllabus this year.
- There were 15 questions from Mechanics, 3 from Heat and 2 from SHM and Waves.
- Similarly, 17 questions came from Electrodynamics. Four good-level questions were asked from Optics and nine from Modern Physics and Electronics. Single correct 42, multiple correct 3, one question of assertion and reasoning, two Questions of statement type, and two questions of match the column were asked.
Chemistry
- The Chemistry paper was a little tougher than last year's, but the standard was good overall.
- Inorganic Chemistry was somewhat tougher than last year, Physical Chemistry was tougher than last year, and Organic Chemistry remained the same.
- Class-wise, in class 11th, 12 questions were asked from Physical chemistry, 5 from Inorganic Chemistry and 5 from Organic chemistry. From the 12th class syllabus, there were 7 questions on Physical chemistry, 11 on Inorganic Chemistry and 11 on Organic Chemistry. There were 5 questions from Physical Chemistry, which were added to the syllabus this year. No questions were asked from Ionic Equilibrium. There were 5 questions of statement type and 7 questions of match the column.
Biology
The level of the Biology paper remained the same as last year, and some questions were asked from the old NCERT syllabus, which included topics like animal tissue and cockroaches. Cockroaches were not included in the updated syllabus of NTA, which was added later, and two questions from it appeared in the paper.
