JEE Advanced is a prestigious national-level engineering entrance examination that provides a pathway for science enthusiasts to secure admission to their desired engineering colleges. This Computer-Based Exam is conducted in a rotation by the seven prestigious IITs, which include IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, and IIT Guwahati. These institutions collectively organize and oversee the examination. IIT Kanpur is the organizing body for JEE Advanced 2025. The exam is scheduled for 18th May (Sunday) 2025.

The requirements for admission into IITs through JEE Advanced Examination include a qualifying exam, minimum grades, and more. Candidates will be disqualified if the JEE Advanced 2025 qualifying requirements are not met. It should be mentioned that JEE Advanced 2025 will only accept applicants who have passed JEE Main. All applicants carefully review the JEE Advanced 2025 eligibility criteria before submitting their application to see if they qualify for admission or not. Candidates must meet all requirements for JEE Advanced eligibility, including those relating to age, the number of attempts, qualifying exam scores, and more.

Foreign national candidates must meet a distinct set of JEE Advanced 2025 qualifying requirements. Candidates who are not Indian citizens or whose parents are not from India are regarded as foreign nationals. Candidates who do not fall under the OCI/PIO criteria are counted as foreign nationals.
As per the decision (dated February 03, 2023) passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) 891 / 2021, OCI/PIO candidates who have secured OCI/PIO card before 04.03.2021 shall be considered as Indian nationals, for the purpose of admission to IITs.
These Candidates MUST appear in the B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE (Main) 2025 and qualify to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025.

After the JEE Main 2025 exam results, the application form for JEE Advanced 2025 will be released by the conducting IIT, i.e. IIT Kanpur.

JEE Advanced 2025 Exam Pattern
Students must take mock tests regularly after completing the syllabus and practising questions, this will help them understand the exam pattern and assess their level of preparation. Mock tests also aid in gauging the exam's difficulty level and in developing speed, accuracy, and time management skills. Students can access JEE Advanced 2025 mock tests on ALLEN's platform and the JEE Advanced Official Website.

Candidates who have registered for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam and paid the registration fees will be issued the admit card for the exam, which will also mention their designated test centre.
Candidates must carry the admit card along with an ID proof to the exam center; otherwise, they will not be allowed to enter.
After completing the JEE Advanced 2025 exam, provisional answer keys for Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be displayed on the official website. Candidates can verify their answers using these keys and also submit any challenges they might have. After considering these challenges, the final answer keys and the JEE Advanced 2025 results will be posted. Furthermore, candidates will have the option to view and download their responses for both Papers 1 and 2.
The result of the JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be announced expectedly in June 2025.
It will feature candidates' individual marks, the combined score from Paper I and Paper II, and other essential particulars. In addition to these details, it will also indicate the candidate's rank in the Common Rank List (CRL) and category rank (if applicable). After the JEE Adv 2025 results are announced, candidates can obtain their scorecards, which are necessary for their participation in the JEE Advanced counselling process.
JEE Advanced 2025 cutoff marks are the minimum marks that a student should secure to qualify for counselling. The cutoffs to take admission will be different for different colleges but the minimum qualifying cutoff is the same. The aggregate marks will be calculated as the sum of the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Candidates must satisfy the subject-wise as well as the aggregate qualifying marks to be included in a rank list. It's important to note that the maximum mark for the JEE Advanced 2025 paper is 360.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the common process online. In this process, seats across IITs, IIITs, NITs, and other government-funded technical institutes (GFTIs) will be distributed among the candidates. Participants in the Joint Seat Allocation process must have achieved a Rank in JEE Adv 2025. JoSAA is only conducted online. To participate in the joint seat allocation procedure, all applicants who meet the admissions requirements must fill out a list of the courses and institutions they like.
