A Juggler throws balls into air. He throws one ball whenever the previous one is at is at its highest point. How high does the balls rise if he throws n balls each second ? Acceleration due to gravity is g.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Juggler throws n balls in one second so time interval between two consecutive throws is `t=(1)/(n)s`

Each ball takes `(1)/(n)s` to reach maximum height.
So, `h_(max)=(1)/(2)xx"gt"^(2)=(1)/(2)xxg((1)/(n))^(2)rArr h_(max)=(g)/(2n^(2))`
