Find the sum to infinity of the following Geometric Progression:`6, 1. 2, 0. 24, ...`

The correct Answer is:
7.5

Given series is in G.P.
Let `a` = first term and `r` = common ratio
Here, `a=6` and `r=1.2/6​=0.2`
`therefore S=a/(1−r)​=6/0.8​=60/8​​=7.5`.
Thus, the sum of given series is 7.5.
