When an inorganic compund X having `3c-2e^(-)` as well as `2c^(-1)-2e^(-1)` bonds react with `NH_(3)` gas at a certain temperature, gives a compound Y, isostuctural with benzene. Compound X with ammonia at a hight temperature produces a substance Z, then

Inorganic graphite `(Z)` is boron nitrate. Since diborane reacts with ammonia at very high temperature to give inorganic graphite `(X)` is diborane, `B_(2)H_(6)`. Diborane contains both `(3c, 2e)` and `(2c, 2e)` bonds.
`B_(2) H_(6) + NH_(3) rarr underset("Borazine (Y)") (B_(3) N_(3) H_(6))`
Borazine is isostructural with benzene, `C_(6) H_(6)`. Hence, `(X)` is diborane, `H_(2) H_(6) , (Y)` is borazine, `B_(3) N_(3) H_(6)` and `(Z)` is boron nitrate `(BN)_(x)`.
