Explain why is ortho nitrophenol more acidic than ortho methoxyphenol?

Ortho-nitrophenol is more acidic thn ortho methoxophenol because nitro group is electron withdrawing and will increase + ve charge on oxygen to make it more acidic wheras-OCH group is electron releasing it will decrease on oxygen making it less acidic + ve charge on oxygen making it less acidic,O-H bond will not break easily.
