Prism
A prism is a portion of transparent refracting medium bounded by two plane surfaces inclined to each other at a certain angle, and the angle between the refracting faces is called angle of the prism denoted by A. The deviation produced by the prism is maximum for violet `(delta_v)` and minimum for red `(delta_r)` colour.
For minimum deviation through a prism. we have

A

`i_1=i_2, r_1=r_2`

B

`i_1 ne i_2, r_1=r_2`

C

`i_1=i_2, r_1 ne r_2`

D

`i_1=i_2,r_1ner_2`
