Aerosol

(i) Aerosol is a colloid of fine solid particles or liquid droplets in air or another gas.
(ii) Aerosols can be natural or anthropogenic. Examples of natural aerosols are fog and geyser steam. Examples of artificial aerosols are haze, dust, particulate, air pollutant and smoke.
(iii) These are emitted through jet and supersonic aeroplanes. It causes depletion of ozone layer.
