Mass percentage (w/w)

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Mass percentage is defined as the number of parts by mass of one component per 100 parts by mass of the solution.
Mass % of a component = `("Mass of one component in the solution")/("Total mass of solution")xx100`
or Mass % of A = `w_(A)/(w_(A)+w_(B))xx100`
Here A and B are two components of a solution.
