Differentiate between oviparous and viviparous animals.

Oviparous: If the animals lay eggs and the young ones develop from eggs, then they are known as oviparous. E.g., fish.
Viviparous: If the animal gives birth to young ones, then they are known as viviparous. E.g., mammals.
External fertilization: If fertilization takes place outside the body, then it is known as external fertilization. E.g., frog Internal fertilization: If fertilization takes place inside the body, then it is known as internal fertilization.
Direct: The developmental stages do not include larval forms.
Indirect: Larval forms are seen in course of development.
