Liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen can be separated by the method known as fractional distillation. This method is used to separated a mixture of two or more miscible liquids for which the difference in boiling point is less than 25 K.The boiling point of `N_(2)` is `-196^(@)C` and oxygen is `-183^(@)C`. Ink is a mixture of several dyes and therefore it can be separated by using chromatography. This method is used for the separation of those solutes which are dissolve in the same solvent. By evaporating the salt solution, NaCI can be easily separated from water. By the help of sublimation, naphthanlene and NaCI can be separted. Sublimate compounds are directly changes from solid to gas on heating.
