To prodce inteference fringes in Young' s double slit experiment light consisting of two wavelengths of 6500 Å and 5200 Å is used.
(i) Determine the distance of the third maxima from the central maxima for light of wavelength 6500 Å .
(ii) At what minimum distance from the central maxima will the bright points (maxima) for two waves superpose?
Given that distance between the two slits is 2 mm and the distance of the screen from the plane of the slits is 120 cm.
