For the same angle of incidence, the angles of refraction in three different media A, B and C are`15^(@), 25^(@)` and `35^(@)` respectively. In which medium, will the velocity of light be minimum ?

Refractive index, `mu = (sini)/(sinr)`.
For the same value of `i , mu propto (1)/(sir)`
In the given problem,
`r_(1) lt r_(2) lt r_(3) or, sinr_(1) lt sinr_(2) lt sinr_(3)`
`therefore " " mu_(1) gt mu_(2) gt mu_(3)`
`"As velocity of light", v = (c)/(mu), i.e.,v propto (1)/(mu), "we have" " " v_(1) lt v_(2) lt v_(3)`
So in the first medium, the velocity of light minimum.
