You are given three metals: sodium, magnesium, and copper. Suggest any two activities to arrange them in order of their reactivity.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Reaction with water (sodium reacts vigorously, magnesium reacts with hot water, and copper shows no reaction) and displacement reaction (sodium displaces both Mg and Cu, Mg displaces only Cu and not Na, whereas Cu displaces neigther Na nor Mg)
