An electric iron has a rating of `750 W, 220 V`. Calculate :
(i) current passing through it and
(ii) its resistance, when in use.

Here, `P = 750 W, V = 220 V`
(i) As `P = VI, I = (P)/(V) = (750 W)/(220 V) = 3.4 A`
(ii) `R = (V)/(I) = (220 V)/(3.4 A) = 64.7 Omega`.
