We must calculate no. of millimoles of electrolyte that must be added to `1` litre of sol for coagulation.
`100mL` of sol requires `5mL` of `1M NaCl` .
Thus, `1000mL` will require
`(5)/(100)xx1000=50mL`
Total volume of system after addition of `50mL` of `1M NaCl`
solution is `1050mL` . Now we must calculate the new molarity of `NaCl` through dilution equation
`M_(i)V_(i)=M_(f)V_(f)`
`1xx50=M_(f)xx1050`
`M_(f)=(50)/(1050)=(5)/(105)molL^(-1)`
Concentration in millimoles per litre
`=(5)/(105)xx1000`
