Text Solution

Verified by Experts

1) Living organism can survive only in a N/Arrow range of pH change.
2) When pH of rain water is less than 5.6 it is called acid rain.
3) When acid rains flow into rivers it lowers the pH of the river water.
4) The survival of aquatic life in such rivers becomes difficult.
Our responsibility
Our main responsibility :
1) Acid rains are cau sed by `CO_2*SO_2` gases in the atmosphere.
2) These gases are mostly generated from industries and automobiles.
3) If we con trol the emission of such gases into the atmosphere, we can survive the aquatic life.
