M= Size of `((N)/(2))` th item
= size of `((399)/(2))` th item
= Size of 199.5th item
Hence, median lies in the class 30-40.
`M=l_(1)+((N)/(2)-c.f.)/(f)xxi`
`=30+((399)/(2)-80)/(120)xx10`
`=30+((199.5)/(2)-80)/(120)xx10=30+(119.5)/(120)xx10`
`=30+9.96=39.96`
Median Marks =39.96.
