Median = Size of `((N+1)/(2))` th item
`((10+1)/(2))` th item
= Size of `((11)/(2))` th item
` Median (X) = ("Size of 5th item + Size of 6th item")/(2)`
=`(46+47)/(2)=(93)/(2)=46.5` marks
Median (Y) `= ("Size of 5th item + Size of 6th item")/(2)`
`=(44+66)/(2)=(100)/(2)=55` marks
Median marks of Accountany (Y) are more than that of Statistics (X). Therefore , level of knownledge of students is higher in Accountanycy.
