What are essential and non-essential amino acids ? Give one example of each type.

The amino acids which can be synthesised by the body are called non-essential amino acids (e.g., glycine). At the sametime, the amino acids which the body fails to synthesise are known as essential amimno acids (indicated by sign e or *).
