Fuctions : Ori `to` Ori is a sequence from where replication starts and any piece of DNA when linked to this sequence can be made to replicate within the host cells.
Rop `to` It codes for the proteins involved in the replication of the plasmid. Antibiotic resistance`("amp"^R) to` Genes encoding resistance to antibiotics like ampicillin, chloramphenicol, tetracycline or kanamycin are useful selectable markeres for E.coli.
