How does entropy change with (i) increase in temperature, (ii) decrease in pressure?

Text Solution

Entropy
(i) increases with increases in temperature.
(ii) Entropy is the degree of randomness of the system. If pressure on the system is increased, in general the randomness of the particles gets reduced this is because the volume of system i.e. space available for the movement of the particle decrease with the increase in pressure and vice versa.
