In the given figure, `angleCBE` is an exterior angle which is equal to the opposite interior angle at the opposite vertex, `angleADC`.
`therefore angleCBE=angleADC` (1)
`angleCBE + angleEBY=180^(2)` (`therefore` linear pair)
`therefore angleCBE=180^(@)-80^(@)=100^(@)`.
`x^(@) = angleADC = angleCBE=100^(@)`.
