How would you determine the standard reduction potential of the system `Mg^(2+)|Mg`?

The standard electrode potential of `Mg^(2+)|Mg` system can be measured by connecting the Mg electrode immersed in 1M `Mg^(2+)` solution with S.H.E. This may be represented as :
`Mg|Mg^(2+) (1M) ||H^(+) ( 1M) |H_2` 1 atm , Pt
From measured potential `E_((Mg^(2+) |Mg))^(Theta)` can be calculated
`E_(cell)^(@) = E_((H^(+)|H_(2))^(Theta) - E_((Mg^(2+)|Mg))^(Theta)`
`therefore E_((Mg^(2+)|Mg))^(Theta) = 0 - E_(cell)^(@)`
This is similar to the method discussed for `Zn^(2+)|Zn` system .
