Why dust generally sttles down in a closed room?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Dust particles are tiny sphere of small radii. These particles while falling in air acquires terminal velocity then fall with a constant velocity. Since the terminal velocity of dust particle is very small [`:' upsilon_(c) prop[ r^(2)]`, so these paricles will settle down in a closed room after some time.
