Elasticity . It is the property of the body due to which the body regains its original configuration (length, volume of shape) when the deforming forces are removed. The body which has this property is called elastic body.
Plasticity. It is the property of the body due to which it does not regain to its original configuration (length , volume or shape), when the deforming force are removed from it. The body which has this property is called plastic body.
