1.0CUET UG 2025 Science Exam Pattern

The CUET UG comprises three different sections, namely Section I, section II, and Section III. All the sections are designed to test a candidate’s aptitude and learning capacity on different levels and in different subjects. There will be a total of 50 multiple-choice questions in each section.

  1. Section I: It comprises the test of language, which is further divided into two subsections, namely Section 1A and 1B.
  2. Section II: It includes the 23 domain-specific subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, etc.
  3. Section III: It is a General Aptitude test that includes a compulsory test of general intelligence through various topics such as reasoning, numerical, and quantitative aptitude.

A combination of Section I and Section III, along with various subjects of Section II, is used for a particular degree program. For instance, in section II, along with the other two sections of the CUET, you need to opt for Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics/Applied Mathematics to pursue a B.Sc (Hons) in Physics.
