2.0What is the Official JEE Advanced Application Form Link?

3.0Who Can Apply for JEE Advanced 2027?

Before filling the JEE Advanced Application Form, every candidate must confirm that they meet all 5 eligibility criteria set by the conducting IIT. Criteria 1 – JEE Main Performance

This is the most fundamental requirement. You must have appeared in JEE Main (conducted by NTA) and secured a position among the top 2,50,000 candidates in the combined merit list across all categories.

Criteria 2 – Age Limit

General, OBC-NCL, and EWS candidates must be born on or after October 1, 2002, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates get a 5-year relaxation and must be born on or after October 1, 1997.

Criteria 3 – Number of Attempts

A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of 2 times, and only in 2 consecutive years.

Criteria 4 – Class 12 / Qualifying Examination

Must have appeared in Class 12 (or equivalent board exam) for the first time in the year of the exam or the year immediately before. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics must be compulsory subjects. Candidates who first appeared in Class 12 two or more years before the exam year are not eligible

Criteria 5 – No Previous IIT Admission

Candidates who have never been admitted to any IIT are fully eligible. Those who were admitted but cancelled before classes began, or were admitted to a preparatory course at any IIT in the previous year, are also eligible to apply.

  • Step-1: Candidates need to visit the official website of JEE Advanced to fill out the application form.
  • Step-2: Candidates then need to register with their mobile number and email ID.
  • Step-3: Once the mobile number and email ID are verified by the links sent on the mobile and email ID, candidates must log in to the JEE Advanced portal.
  • Step-4: On the portal, candidates need to click on the application form button and continue to fill out the Application form of JEE Advanced application form. Candidates must fill in all the details correctly, ensure all details are accurate, and review them before submission.
  • Step-5: Once the details are filled in, candidates will be directed to the fee payment section, where they must choose their preferred mode of payment.
