2.0JEE Advanced 2025 Application Form

Registration for JEE Advanced 2025 is expected to begin in April 2025. Students will be able to register for the JEE Advanced exam online once they confirm their eligibility. The conducting authority will release the JEE Advanced application form, including a correction facility for certain details. Candidates must submit their final JEE Advanced 2025 application form before the announced deadline, as no applications will be accepted after the registration portal closes. Additionally, candidates should print the completed online JEE Advanced 2025 application form and the fee receipt for future reference.

3.0Eligibility to Apply for JEE Advanced 2025

The eligibility criteria for applying to JEE Advanced 2025 are divided into five categories. Candidates must fulfil all the criteria to appear for JEE Advanced 2025.

Criteria 1 - JEE Main 2025 Performance

Candidates must be amongst the top 2.5 lakh successful candidates in the JEE Main exam.

Criteria 2 - Age

Candidates must have been born on or after 1 October 2000 to apply for JEE Advanced 2025. However, candidates from PwD, ST, and SC are given a five-year relaxation. Hence, these candidates need to have been born on or after 1 October 1995.

Criteria 3 - Attempt to write the exam

Candidates can only write the JEE Advanced exam for two consecutive years just for two times.

Criteria 4 - Class 12th exam appearance

Candidates need to appear for the class 12th or equivalent exam for the first time in 2024 or 2025. Moreover, candidates need to have studied subjects such as Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Candidates who attempted to write the class 12 or equivalent exam in 2023 or prior are not allowed to appear for JEE Advanced 2025. However, an exception can be made if a one-time special measure is provided.

Criteria 5 - Earlier admission at IITs

Candidates whose admission at any IIT was cancelled (regardless of the reason) are not allowed to attempt JEE Advanced 2025 after joining. However, candidates who were admitted to a preparatory course in any IIT in 2024 for the first time can attempt to write the JEE Advanced 2025 exam.

4.0Registration Fee for JEE Advanced 2025

The JEE advanced registration fee can be paid online through the official website. Candidates can use Net Banking, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards to pay the application form fees.

The registration fees for Jee Advanced 2025 are different for Indian national candidates and Foreign national candidates.

5.0Documents to Keep Ready for the Application Form

Some of the important documents that candidates need to keep ready for the JEE Advanced 2025 application form include:

1.       12th or equivalent certificate

2.       Category certificate (if needed)

3.       PwD certification (if needed)

4.       Date of birth proof

5.       OCI/ PIO certificate 

6.0How to Fill the JEE Advanced 2025 Application Form?

In order to fill out the JEE Advanced 2025 Application form, candidates must follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the JEE advanced official website to get the application form.

Step 2: Candidates then need to register their mobile number and email ID.

Step 3: Once the mobile number and email ID are verified by the links sent on the mobile and email ID, candidates must log on to the JEE advanced portal.

Step 4: On the portal, candidates need to click on the application form button and continue to fill out the JEE Advanced 2025 application form. Candidates must fill in all the details correctly and revisit the details before submitting them.

Step 5: Once the details are filled in, candidates will be directed to the payment section. Here, candidates can choose their preferred mode of payment.

Step 6: After the payment is completed, the entire application form will be showcased on the screen.

Step 7: Candidates need to take a printout of the application form for any future references. Candidates should not miss their roll number and application number in any case.
