FAQs: Test and Results

  1. Where and when can i see my test schedule?

Once you log into your app/website, go to the Allen homepage <https://www.allen.in>, scroll down to “Your tests” section. You should be able to see information about your upcoming tests.

To view your past tests, go to the Allen homepage > "Tests" section <https://allen.in/my-tests> and all your past tests will appear there.

For the upcoming tests, the syllabus and schedules are uploaded at least 10 days in advance for PNCF and at least 1 month in advance for JEE/NEET.


  1. How do i access my online test?

Once you log into your app/website, go to the Allen homepage <https://www.allen.in>, scroll down to “Your tests” section. You should be able to see information about your upcoming tests.

To view your past tests, go to the Allen homepage > "Tests" section <https://allen.in/my-tests> and all your past tests will appear there.


  1. Where can I see my test syllabus?

To view your syllabus, go to Allen homepage <https://www.allen.in>, scroll down to "Your Tests". From the tests displayed, identify the test that you want to see the syllabus for, click on "View Syllabus".

Please note that for the upcoming tests, the syllabus and schedules are published at least 10 days in advance for PNCF and at least 1 month in advance for JEE/NEET.


  1. What is a test window? I have a 3 hours test but the test window shows 12 hours?

We understand that not all the students might be able to take the test at a fixed time. Hence, we have a test login window within which you can login and take the test. For example, if your test window if from 9 am till 9pm, you can start the test anytime between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm and take the test for 3 hours once succssfully logged win within this window. Please note that the test time window differs for each test, hence it is advised to check the test window before the exam.


  1. Can i appear for a test after the test start time?

The test will be open for the defined time window within which you can appear for the test. For example, if your test window is from 9am till 9pm, you can start the test at anytime between 9am and 9pm. Please note that the test time window differs for each test, hence it is advised to check the test window before the exam.

Once you start the test, the timer for the defined test duration will start running.

In case you missed the test login window, you can still re-attempt the test. Go to "Tests" <https://allen.in/my-tests> > "Your Past Tests" > Select the test > Click "Re-attempt"


  1. When can I see my test result?

Once the test window ends, 

  • Tentative rank and answer key will be available within 24 hours after the test window ends.
  • Final results with ranks will be out within 48–72 hours after the test window ends.
  • Results for AIOOTs take up to 7 days to be released
  • To view your results, go to Tests <https://allen.in/my-tests> > Your past tests, select the test that you want to view the result for. Click "View Result".


  1. How and where can i see my final results?

  1. When will i get provisional result/answer key?

The provisional result/answer key will be available on the ALLEN app after 2 hours of the test window end time. Go to "Tests" <https://allen.in/my-tests> > "Your Past Tests" > Select the test > "View Result" > "Answer Key". You should be able to see the questions and answers in a pdf form.


  1. Will i get insights into my performance for each test?

Yes, there will be a detailed analysis of each test to help you understand your performance. Go to "Tests" <https://allen.in/my-tests> > "Your Past Tests" > Select the test > "View Result". You should be able to see the detailed analysis of your test results.


  1. Can i appear for the test on my tablet or desktop?

Yes, you can give the test on any device: mobile (ALLEN app), tablet, or desktop (Allen.in). To avoid any disruptions during the test, we recommend ensuring a stable power supply and internet connection before starting your test.


  1.  I missed the test login window. What should i do?

In case you missed the test login window, you can still re-attempt the test. Go to "Tests" <https://allen.in/my-tests> > "Your Past Tests" > Select the test > Click "Re-attempt".

Alternatively, you can download all questions and answers and practice them by yourself. Go to "Tests" <https://allen.in/my-tests> > "Your Past Tests" > Select the test > "View Result" > "Answer Key". You should be able to see the questions and answers in a pdf form. You can download it from there.

Please note that the test questions will be available on the ALLEN app/website only after 2 hours from the test end time.


  1. How many test REATTEMPTS are allowed?

You can take up to 3 re-attempts. Please note that you will only get a predictive rank in re-attempted tests


  1. If my tests stops due to a power cut or internet issues ,can i resume the test where i left off?

Yes, the test will resume with the same question; however, the timer will not stop for the duration of a power cut or internet issues. In case you missed the test or some parts of the test, you can re-attempt the test. Go to "Tests" <https://allen.in/my-tests> > "Your Past Tests" > Select the test > Click "Re-attempt". To avoid disruptions, we recommend ensuring a stable power supply and internet connection before starting your test.


  1. I am not able to enter two digit values or decimals in the answer during my test. What can I do?

In case you are not able to enter decimals/ two digit values in the answer, it may be because as per the instructions in the test, the answer is supposed to be rounded off to the nearest integer or the answer is a single digit integer. We highly recommend that you read the test instructions carefully before attempting the test.


  1. My test got auto-submitted. Why?

Once the allotted time is over, the test is auto-submitted and no extra time is provided. You will be evaluated on the questions you’ve attempted, and any unanswered questions will be marked as unattempted. We recommend tracking the timer and managing your time carefully.


  1. I am facing technical issues with my tests. What should i do?

If you experience this issue, please try the following steps:

  • Close the app and reopen it if test is stuck
  • Use Chrome browser for best compatibility
  • Clear app data and cache
  • Check date & time settings on the device
  • Update the app to resolve “Submit/Answer Not Saved” issues
  • Log in using the correct batch ID
  • If test shows “Upcoming,” sync time settings and refresh
  • For subjective tests – ensure proper answer upload before submitting


  1. What are the different type of tests that will be conducted in my course?

If you are a JEE/ NEET student - The following type of tests will be conducted:

1. Minor Tests -These tests focus on a specific section or a limited portion of the syllabus

2. Semi-Major Tests - These are partial Syllabus tests

3. Major Tests - Comprehensive, Full syllabus test

4. AIOOTs - Full syllabus tests with National benchmarking


If you are enrolled in Class 6-10 courses, We may conduct :
