The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam, administers the Assam NEET UG Counselling 2025 for admissions to MBBS and BDS programs under the 85% state quota and 100% private medical seats. Only those who meet the state's eligibility requirements and have passed the NEET UG 2025 exam may apply.

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam, has made public the Assam NEET Counseling 2025 provisional merit list. The merit list, which also refers to the total number of Assamese candidates who qualified for NEET 2025, has 19,809 candidates on it.

2.0Round 1 Merit List of Assam NEET UG Counselling
It is anticipated that the Assam NEET 2025 Counseling process will start in August 2025. For the 85% of state quota seats available for admission to MBBS and BDS programs in the state, the Assam NEET counseling 2025 will take place. A combination of online and offline counseling will be used for Assam NEET UG 2025.
The institute reporting or admission confirmation must be completed offline, even though the registration, choice filling, merit list release, seat matrix, and seat allocation result will all be announced online. There will be roughly five to six counseling sessions.
3.0Eligibility Criteria for Assam NEET UG Counselling
Candidates must:
Qualify NEET UG 2025
Be a domicile of Assam
Pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
Be at least 17 years old by 31st December 2025
