3.0Karnataka NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the NEET counselling in Karnataka, candidates must:
- Be eligible for NEET UG 2025 in order to take part in the NEET counselling in Karnataka.
- Be 17 years old by December 31, 2025, at the latest.
- Possess a 10+2 diploma in English, physics, chemistry, and biology.
- KEA portal registration is required.

- Visit Official KEA Portal - Go to cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea
- Click UG NEET 2025. Then, click the NEET UG link and select the counseling section.
- Enter your date of birth, email address, mobile number, and NEET roll number when registering for the first time.
- Complete the application by entering your NEET, personal, and academic information.
- Upload Documents: You can upload certificates such as your caste certificate, photo, signature, and NEET scorecard.
- Pay the registration fee using net banking or a credit/debit card. Each category has a different fee.
- Download Confirmation: Print the completed submission page for your records.

6.0Karnataka NEET UG Counselling Process
Here’s the step-by-step NEET UG counselling process in Karnataka:
- Online registration and payment of the counselling fee are required.
- Uploading and Verifying Documents: Upload scanned copies of documents and check the originals at offline or online verification centers.
- Publication of the Merit List: The Karnataka state NEET merit list will be made public by KEA.
- Choice Filling & Locking: Complete and secure medical and dental college selections.
- The outcome of the seat allocation will be announced by KEA based on the availability of seats, category, preferences, and NEET rank.
- Reporting to College: In order to be admitted, candidates must report and pay for their tuition.
