NEET UG 2026 Application Form: Important Dates, Documents & Steps to Apply

Latest Update: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that candidates who have already submitted the NEET UG 2026 application form do not need to apply again for RE‑NEET 2026. The previously submitted application forms will remain valid, and no additional application fee will be charged.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the NEET UG 2026 application form on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can submit the NEET application form 2026 by paying the requisite application fee.

NTA NEET UG 2026 Updates:

The NEET UG 2026 application process was conducted by the NTA from 08 February to 11 March 2026.

1.0NEET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before proceeding with the NEET application, candidates need to ensure they meet the following criteria:

1. Nationality: Indian Nationals, Foreign Nationals, NRIs, PIOs, and OCIs.

2. Age

  • Must have attained at least 17 years of age by December 31, 2026, at the time of admission.
  • There is no upper age limit.

3. Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board.

4. Qualifying Marks

  • General category candidates require a minimum of 50%.
  • OBC/SC/ST candidates need a minimum of 40%.
  • PWD candidates must have at least 45%.

5. Number of permitted attempts

There are no restrictions on the maximum number of attempts for the NEET exam.

  • Step 4: Payment of Application Fees

  • Step 5: Printing Confirmation Page

After successfully submitting the application, a confirmation page will be generated. You don't need to send this page to the NTA. Keep the confirmation page and proof of fee payment safe for future reference.

Note: The application process will close as per the schedule provided. Make sure to complete all steps within the given time frame.

3.0Application Form Correction

Applicants who have submitted their NEET-UG 2026 applications can make changes online. Permitted changes include nationality, language choice, gender, exam center, category, and state of eligibility. No other information can be edited during this period. Once the correction window NEET-UG 2026 closes, no further changes are allowed. Applicants who do not require changes are advised to review their forms for accuracy during this period.
