To obtain the NEET 2026 admit card once it becomes available, follow the step-by-step instructions below.

  • Visit the NTA official website.
  • Click on the NEET 2026 admit card link when available.
  • Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin, then click "Submit."
  • NEET 2026 admit card will appear on the screen.
  • Verify the information on your admit card for correctness. Report any discrepancies immediately.
  • Download the NEET admit card and make 3-4 printouts for future use.
  • Ensure your parent's signature in the designated space on the NEET 2026 admit card.

If a student cannot recall their registration number while attempting to access the official website for NEET admit card download, they can retrieve their NEET 2026 registration number by following these steps.

Steps to Recover Registration Number:

  • Go to the official NEET website.
  • Click on the 'Forgot registration number' link under the current events section.
  • Enter your name, parent's name, date of birth, category, and security pin.
  • The NEET UG application number will be sent to your registered email ID by the authorities.

NEET admit card 2026: How to recover password?

If a candidate forgets their password for the NEET 2026 candidate login portal, they can use the following steps to recover it:

  • Visit the official website.
  • Locate and click on the "NEET UG 2026 reset password" link.
  • Enter their application number, date of birth, and name as requested on the portal, then click submit.
  • Choose between resetting the password through an OTP or by answering a security question. If selecting OTP, they will receive it on their registered mobile number and should follow the provided instructions.

5.0Exam Day Instructions & Rules For Candidates

All candidates must follow the NTA's official rules exactly in order for the exam process to go smoothly. The following are the most important NEET exam rules and dress code guidelines that you must follow on the day of the test.

Important Rules for the Day of the Test

  • Reporting Time: You must be at the exam center at least an hour before the start time. No one will be allowed in after the time limit.
  • Seating: Each candidate gets a specific seat and roll number. You must sit only in the seat that is assigned to you.
  • Video Surveillance: CCTV cameras watch over all of the exam centers. When asked to record a video, stand up straight and look at the camera.
  • Prohibited Items: You can't bring electronic devices, cell phones, or unauthorized stationery. The exam center does not have a place to store personal items.
  • Test Booklet: Before you start the test, make sure that your test booklet has the same number of pages as the cover says it does.
  • Exit Policy: Candidates are not allowed to leave the exam room until the exam is over. You must give the OMR sheet to the invigilator before you leave.

Official NEET 2026 Dress Code and Rules

To make sure that the frisking goes smoothly, you must follow the dress code for NEET exam:

  • Dress: Wear light clothes with short sleeves. Don't use big buttons, brooches, or fancy embroidery.
  • Footwear: You can wear slippers or sandals with low heels. Shoes are not allowed.
  • Jewelry: You can't wear rings, earrings, nose pins, or necklaces made of metal.
  • Customary Dress: Candidates who are wearing religious or traditional clothing must arrive early so that they have enough time for proper frisking.

Documents You Must Carry at NEET Exam Centre

Make sure you bring the following papers to the test center:

  • NEET 2026 Admit Card: A clear printout with a passport-sized photo pasted in the designated space.
  • Valid ID Proof: A valid form of identification, such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport.
  • Extra Photographs: Two additional passport-sized photos (same as uploaded in the application form) for the attendance sheet.
  • Postcard Photograph: A 4" × 6" color photograph must be pasted on Page 2 of the admit card.
  • PwD Certificate: Required only for candidates claiming relaxation under this category.
