The correct Answer is:
C

(c) The following points should be considered while making
the circuit:
(i) An ammeter is made by connecting a low resistance `R_2`
in parallel with the galvanometer `G_2`.

(ii) A voltmeter is made by connecting a high resistance `R_1`
in series with the galcanometer `G_1`.

(iii) Voltmeter is connected in parallel with the test resistor
`R_T`
(iv) Ammeter is connected in series with the test resistor
`R_T`.
(v) A variable voltage source V is connected in series with
the test resistor `R_T`.

Two resistors of resistance R_(1) and R_(2) having R_(1) gt R_(2) are connected in parallel. For equivalent resistance R, the correct statement is

The circuit has resistors of equal resistance R. The equivalent resistance between A and B, when key is closed is R_1 and when key is open is R_2 . Find the ratio R_1 and R_2 .

In the circuit shown, both cells are ideal and of fixed emf, the resistance of resistance R_(1) has fixed resistance and the resistance of resistor R_(2) can be varied (but the value of R_(2) is not zero). Then:

Two students made two circuits A and B to determine the resultant resistance of two resistors R_(1) and R_(2) connected in series : All the components have been connected correctly in :
