The length of an air column for a fundamental mode in a resonance tube is 16 cm and that for second resonance is 5.25 cm. Find the end correction.

Given : `l_(1) = 16` cm
`l_(2) = 50.25`
`e = (l_(2)-3l_(1))/(2)`
`=(50.25-(3xx16))/(2)`
`=(50.25 - 48)/(2)`
`e= (2.25)/(2)`
`:. E = 1.125 cm`
