`f(x)=2x-|x|`
`={(2x-x, जब xge0),(2x-(-x), जब xlt0):}`
`={(x, "when" xge0),(3x, "when"xlt0):}`
अब `f(0)=0`
`f(0+)=lim_(xto0+)f(x)=lim_(xto0+)(x)=0`
तथा `f(0-)=lim_(xto0-)f(x)=lim_(xto0-)(3x)=0`
`:.f(0+)=f(0-)=f(0)`
अतः `f(x),x=0` पर संतत है।
