in the figure shown all surface are smooth. Find
(a)acceleration of all the blocks,
(b) net force on`4kg` and `10kg` blocks and ,
( c) force acting between `4kg` and `10kg` blocks.

Text Solution

(a)`a = ("Net pulling force")/("Total mass")`
`= (100 - 40)/(6 + 4 + 10) =3m//s^(2)`
(b) net force on any block`= ma`
(c ) `N - 40 = 10a = 30`

:. `N = 70`newton
