If block `A` of the pulley system is moving downward with a speed of `1 m//s` while block `C` moving up at `0.5m//s` determine the speed of block `B`

Let `B` and `C` both move upwards (alongwith there pulleys) with speed `nu_(B)` and `nu_(c)` then we can see that, `A` will move downward with speed , `2nu_(B) + 2nu_(C)`. So
`:. nu_(B) = (nu_(A))/(2) - nu_(C)`
Substituting the value we have,`nu_(B) = 0`
