A rectangular loop is placed to the left of large current carrying straight wire as shown in Figure. Current varies with time as `I=2t`. Find direction of induced current `I_("in")` in the square loop.

D

Current `I` will produce `o.` magnetic field passing through the loop. Current `I` is increasing, so dot magnetic field will also increase. Therefore, induced current should produce cross magnetic field. For producing cross magnetic field in the loop, induced from our side should be clockwise.
