It is necessary ton use satellites for long distance TV transmission. Explain why?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

TV waves (parts od radio waves)range from 54 MHz.Unlike short wave bands(used in radio boardcasts) which are reflected by ionosphere,TV waves are not properly reflected by ionosphere. This is why, satellities are used for distance TV transmission.
