The correct Answer is:
C

Fungi are considered ubiquitous i.e. they occur in a variety of habitats. Most of them are moisture loving and terrestrial and few (eg. Monoblephar is) are aquatic. Fungi may be epiphytic (i.e. live on plants eg. Armillaria), saprophytic (i.e. live with association with other plants eg. lichen, mycorrhiza) and predacious (eg. Dactyldela) and parasitic (eg. Erysipi) fungi are achlorohphyllus i.e. devoid of chlorophyll hence cannot prepare their own food. They are heterotrophic and show absorptive type of nutrition.
